Next Generation Banking
Bank of Maldives (BML) today unveiled its completely redesigned mobile banking application, BML Mobile 3.0, packed with features that the bank says will transform how Maldivians manage their finances.
Key features of the new app include face and fingerprint biometric authentication, instant fund transfers 24/7, a new investment module allowing customers to buy Treasury Bills and government bonds, and an AI-powered spending analyzer that categorizes expenses and provides personalized budgeting advice.
BML CEO Karl Stumke said the bank invested MVR 85 million in developing the new platform over two years. "We are committed to ensuring every Maldivian, whether in Male or in a remote atoll, has access to world-class financial services," he said at the launch event.
